The Diamondback 1260Ef Elliptical is a very high quality piece of equipment; very, stable, well constructed elliptical that looks like it is built to last for many years of home use. I used a treadmill prior and this is so much smoother and with no pounding on the bones.
There are a lot of cheaper options out there, but you get what you pay for with the Diamondback 1260Ef Elliptical. I wake up, get on the elliptical trainer, get a fitness center workout without leaving home, shower and go to work. All I have to say is that this is the best health equipment purchase I have ever made!

The assembly instructions are limited, but if you follow the steps, take your time, and match the pre-packaged mounting hardware numbers with the assembly step numbers you should have no problems. Not everything is clearly specified in the instructions so pay close attention to the drawings when putting it together. I was able to complete assembling the Diamondback 1260Ef Elliptical in about 45 min to an hour.
The Diamondback 1260Ef Elliptical feels like a great workout to me and it is not as boring as my treadmill. The 19 inch stride is very comfortable for my 5’4” frame. There are varying levels of intensity (resistance) and incline to make things more challenging. I enjoy experimenting with the varied programs offered.
I also love that the Diamondback 1260Ef Elliptical will read my polar rate heart monitor. Both heart-rate monitors — a pair of fixed/built-in handles and a wireless device that you wear on your chest – works great.
The Diamondback 1260Ef Elliptical machine lives up to the top rating. It is performing exactly as promised by Consumer’s Report and the manufacturer. If you’re looking for a quality elliptical machine, I believe the Diamondback 1260Ef Elliptical is it!

First let me say that the Precor AMT100i Experience Series Adaptive Motion Trainer is hands down my favorite out of the elliptical, treadmill, bike, stair-stepping cardio genre of gym equipment. Ellipticals and recumbent bikes are great, but the Precor AMT100i is SUPERIOR to them all!
